By accessing or using HireMyDad's website or services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

HireMyDad is a marketplace platform that connects homeowners ("Customers") with skilled tradespeople and handymen ("Service Professionals" or "Dads"). We facilitate connections but are not a party to any agreement between Customers and Service Professionals.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using HireMyDad, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update any changes to your information
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. For Customers

As a Customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the services you need
• Treat Service Professionals with respect
• Pay for services as agreed
• Provide honest feedback and reviews
• Not engage in any fraudulent or deceptive conduct

6. For Service Professionals

As a Service Professional ("Dad"), you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your skills and qualifications
• Maintain all required licenses and insurance
• Complete background checks as required
• Treat Customers with respect and professionalism
• Provide services as described and agreed
• Honor the pricing you quote
• Comply with our Safety Standards and Code of Conduct

7. Safety and Conduct

We have zero tolerance for:

• Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
• Fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Unsafe work practices
• Any conduct that makes users feel unsafe or uncomfortable

Violations may result in immediate removal from the platform.

8. Payments and Fees

Payment terms, service fees, and refund policies will be clearly communicated before any transaction. HireMyDad may charge service fees to Customers, Service Professionals, or both.

9. Limitation of Liability

HireMyDad is a marketplace platform. We do not employ Service Professionals and are not responsible for the quality of services provided. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireMyDad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireMyDad, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on HireMyDad, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
